This is a place for independent retailers to showcase what's on offer, and for shoppers to share their tips on the best of local shopping. See the interactive map on the Guardian here:
Whether you’re a shop, market or shopper, you can contribute your tips on what you love about #LocalShopping when you’re out and about. Simply take a picture, write a caption, turn your location on and Tweet, Instagram or n0tice your tip with #LocalShopping. Your tip will then be pinned to your location on the #LocalShopping map.
The best tips will be featured on the map with the “Best local shopper” crowned alongside the location that’s the “Most popular #LocalShopping” hotspot.
This is a great tool for local businesses to put their shops, products and best deals on the map so shoppers can find them, and discover something great to buy locally.
